Couples therapy, also known as marriage or relationship counseling, focuses on improving communication and resolving conflicts within romantic relationships. It provides a safe environment for couples to explore issues like communication breakdowns, trust issues, intimacy concerns, or major life transitions. In our confidential sessions, you will find tools for understanding and mutual growth. As an inclusive relational therapist, I'm trained to work with LGBTQIA+ relationships, consensual non-monogamy or poly relationships, and individuals exploring diverse identities.

I can absolutely assure you that boring conversations are not part of my practice. While engaging in therapy does not always feel warm and fuzzy, it is a safe place for your authentic and fully human self to emerge. A good relationship therapist knows how to bring out your authentic selves to ensure that we find all of the parts you bring to the relationship. All partners do need to be present in most of the sessions. There will be a few individual sessions during the initial assessment.

My therapeutic style is warm and confident, focused on guiding couples to discover their most fulfilling selves together. I believe in creating a space where couples can explore their strengths and challenges with openness and honesty, ultimately enhancing relationship satisfaction and fostering a renewed sense of partnership and intimacy.

As an out-of-network provider, I do not directly accept insurance for couples therapy services. Many insurance plans do not cover couples therapy, recognizing it as a non-medical service. However, I understand the financial considerations involved in seeking therapy. I offer competitive rates and can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan's out-of-network benefits.
